Accessibility
A website for everyone who designs, builds, and runs exchangers.
We want plutohx.com to be easy to use for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, larger text, or reduced motion.
Last updated September 30, 2026
Our aim
WCAG 2.2, level AA.
We design and test this website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the level most accessibility policies ask for.
What we test
Checks we run on every page.
- Color contrast of text and controls against the WCAG AA ratios
- Keyboard use: every link, menu, button, and form field can be reached and used without a mouse, with a visible focus ring
- A skip link to the main content, and headings and landmarks that follow the page structure
- Text alternatives for the drawings and the 3D model, and still drawings when a device asks for reduced motion
- Form fields with labels, and messages that say which field needs a second look
- Pages that reflow on narrow screens without sideways scrolling, down to 320 px wide
Known limits
Where we know we can do better.
The interactive 3D model is visual. Its content is also given as text and as still drawings, and it can be turned with the arrow keys, but a screen reader user will get more from the text around it.
The drawings from the illustration library carry small labels. Each one has a text alternative on the page, and you can open any drawing at full size.
