Use case

For owner-operators.

For the companies in oil and gas, petrochemical, and power generation that run the exchangers for years after they are built.

The reference exchanger seen from the rear end: the shell cover with its bolted flange, the shell on its two saddles, and the shell side outlet nozzle below, as a line drawing.

Planning maintenance

Seeing how the exchanger comes apart.

The model shows the exchanger as it will stand on site. For the reference exchanger that means a tube bundle that comes out of the shell (TEMA type T, a pull-through floating head), and two saddles: one fixed to the foundation, one free to slide as the shell grows with heat.

Records that last

The paperwork, from the same design.

Each design comes with its calculation package, drawings, bill of materials, NDE and PWHT requirements, and software validation, so the records of the exchanger match what was built.
