Use case

For engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms.

One workflow from the process specification to the mechanical fabrication, including the design changes that come late in a project.

A design change

The design pressure goes up.

Late in the project, the design pressure of the teaching shell rises from 300 psi to 400 psi. PlutoHX runs the dependent checks again (the shell, the heads, the nozzles, the flanges and bolting, and the tubesheets) and shows what changed: here, the shell moves from a 1/2 in to a 5/8 in plate.

One source of data

The process data and the mechanical design stay together.

Because the process datasheet is parsed directly, the mechanical design starts from the process engineer’s own values, and the two stay the same.

Coming Winter 2026

We would be glad to show you PlutoHX.

PlutoHX launches at the end of this year. A live demo shows how it fits the way your team works.
